Winter Guard Hand Axe

So only in the last... two years have I gotten into building my own weapons and props.  I feel good that I am impressed by my ingenuity.  This was Insulation foam (Two 1 inch thick pieces glued and nailed together as the only way I could get 2 inch foam was in GIANT sheets)  with PVC Sintra over the important surfaces.  The top and underside (not seen in picture are still bare foam but painted black) The handle is just PVC pipe and screws were used to attach the handle to the head it's durable enough to swing around but if I were to go whacking things it would probably break.

While I feel like this approach worked but I couldn't get very much detail with it.  Not sure how much of this was my inexperince and how much is just limited by my materials and my methods.  We'll see.  Next will probably be some magelock pistols.  Which are much more delicate weapons.  We'll see how those come out...
